Trading bot — a tool that helps reduce the number of manual actions when you work with trading signals and manage a position.

The bot does not generate trading signals on its own. The source of the trading information is the trader.

How is the bot set up?

The bot is set up when you’re connected to our system.

Together with your personal manager, you decide on the main operating parameters. The bot moves a trade to break-even automatically if the trading signal calls for it.

How do you work with the bot?

The workflow looks like this:

  1. The trader creates a trading signal.
  2. You receive the signal in Telegram.
  3. You pass the signal parameters to the trading bot: the trading instrument, trade direction, entry range, Stop Loss and Take Profit.
  4. The bot checks the entry conditions and sends the trade command to the connected MetaTrader 5 account.
  5. If the price is within the acceptable entry range, the bot opens the position automatically.
  6. If the price is outside the entry range, the bot does not open a position.
  7. Once the position is open, the bot manages the trade on its own and closes the position automatically when the set levels are reached.

What the bot does automatically

  • opens a position when the entry conditions are met;
  • sets the position parameters;
  • works with Stop Loss and Take Profit;
  • closes the position automatically when the set levels are reached;
  • manages the open position according to the configured settings.

In this way, the bot helps you act on a trading signal faster and with fewer manual actions. If the bot won’t connect, doesn’t perform the required actions or isn’t working correctly, contact your personal manager.

If the bot or the terminal isn’t working correctly

Check the connection, the status of your trading account and whether there are any open orders. Don’t increase the volume, and don’t try to make up for a technical error with a new trade.

If the status of the trade is unclear, stop taking any new actions and contact your personal manager.

Main bot parameters

The bot uses the main parameters for managing a position.

Stop Loss (SL)
The level at which the position closes automatically if the price moves against you. It is used to limit potential losses.

Take Profit (TP)
The level at which the position closes automatically once the set target is reached. It is used to lock in profit.

Break-even (BE)
Moving the position’s protective level to around the entry price after the price has moved a certain distance in your favor. It is used to reduce the risk that a profitable position turns into a loss if the market reverses.

How does break-even work?
If the trading signal calls for moving to break-even, the bot does it automatically.

When you connect to the system, your personal manager helps you

  • connect and set up the trading bot;
  • understand the main parameters;
  • adapt the settings to your individual parameters;
  • learn how to proceed from there.

After the initial setup, you work with the bot according to the agreed settings.

Work through the situation

You passed the signal parameters to the bot but didn’t see a confirmation. You’re tempted to send the command again.

What should you do first?

The key point

The bot does not make trading decisions and does not create signals. It helps you act on a trading signal you’ve already received and work with the position parameters.
The trading bot has no access to withdraw funds from your trading account.

Trader → signal → Telegram → trading bot → position

In short

  • The bot does not generate signals: their source is the trader.
  • The bot opens a position only if the price is within the entry range.
  • The bot manages the position and closes it at the set levels.
  • The bot moves a trade to break-even if the signal calls for it.
  • If something goes wrong, first check the position in MetaTrader 5 — don’t repeat the command.
